This painting began in a manner where I used acrylic paint thiunned  down so it would travel, And once I applied it to the this is illustration board by the way   And then would chill illustration board allowing the paint to run in different directions and I would use things such as a straw or a blow dryer to Aid with the movement. I find this creates not only a very interesting background but also is a creative exercise because you don't have to have a plan going into it it's rooted in process and then as the water down acrylics cross over one another with their finger like protrusions what happened to this small individual shapes are created within the criss-crosses. Throughout the course of the creation process some of these will be darkened and some will be lightened either brought forward or push back creating a sense of space and depth I started here with the felines I am very much love of cats maybe their attitude maybe they're looking Feel My Love for them is just apparent in a lot of my decor and work but it couldn't just be a normal basic cat here I started portraying three-eyed cats the bottom one does the hairless boy has become one of my most popular stickers of all time in the center the figure began as a self portrait the size and shape of the characters  iris created a person that no longer looks like me, but since It's not meant to be representative of me that's totally okay. the origami hands severed at the wrist the malformed cats the smashed still smoking cigarette butts all swirling around the characters face speaking to the messed up mixed up feelings we have in our young adulthood. Mine was somewhat glamorous and fun so very confusing with some rough patches.
